I'm Gary Sampson Tattooist.

What I offer is uncompromising methodical tattooing with a more comprehensive service.

It all starts with a meticulous consultation.

I will personally sit down with you to discuss your ideas in detail and look over your references. I will spend all the time you need to convey exactly what you do and don't like. Then we will create a bold and solid tattoo design that will be long lasting and easily read across a room.

I do not quote tattoos without a consultation, as every tattooist will quote based on their own limitations and application. I quote based on my ability to apply smooth shading, intricate detail and dynamic contrast, using multiple techniques and textures. this will have me quoting on the more expensive end of the scale, but this also gives me the ability to tailor the application to achieve your goal for the project. A cheaper quote tends to just mean less tattoo, be it in quality or quantity but with me we can discuss your desired outcome and I can make adjustments to my application to suit your budget. A cheaper artist can only offer cheap tattoos where an exceptional artist can give you the best bang for your buck, without compromising on the quality where it matters to you. Not to mention the peace of mind and confidence that you will get a quality tattoo for the rest of your life. I like to keep things simple. You can give me a budget to work to and I will tailor the design to suit, or we get the design perfect and from there I will give you my worst case estimate as I feel it's more honest to overestimate than under. 

I work in 3 to 5 hour sessions. You will typically be my only client for that day. This is to ensure we are under no time restraints, making sure no part of your tattoo is rushed just for the sake of another client waiting.

I follow this up with no expense spared aftercare. Your tattoo will be wrapped in a protective medical grade breathable film that will not only protect your fresh tattoo for up to 5 days, but will also shorten the healing time to several days, and helps to retain more ink for a bolder black and smoother shading.

 

No tattoo is too big or too small for me to consider as every tattoo is a lifetime commitment and deserves to be treated as such. So please feel free to get in touch.
